In: Very Good...fast delivery, on time. By: Melbourne - 15/10/2015 I purchase the version 5 with 1-day delivery, good job. Overall, very good experience. By: Oxford - 13/10/2015 This is a really easy book to read and understand. One would think this is rather basic but it really isn't. The book has great depth and covers the essentials of how it works. By: Malta - 13/10/2015 This is a wonderful book and was a major help in learning how to design, analyse and implement mobile apps. By: Texas - 13/10/2015 Nice book, easy to follow, concise and very practical. By: Norway - 13/10/2015 I am a first time user of this book. And I found it very good. The app demos are really helpful. By: Los Angeles - 13/10/2015 Like the book itself. A thorough and in depth look at the many options available. The book was also helpful in providing other ways of looking at things in mobile web design. By: Florida - 13/10/2015 I bought the second edition to help me with my career. I found the book extremely useful in developing mobile apps. By: Johannesburg - 13/10/2015 The book is easy to read. The book is comprehensive in both content and the depth of the subject. By: Vancouver - 13/10/2015 I found it very useful, especially the part about google mobile. By: Toronto - 13/10/2015 The book was very useful for my new career and for my own mobile app development. I would recommend this book for anyone who wants to develop mobile apps and build mobile websites. By: London - 13/10/2015 The third edition is a good read, but one of the few books that is better to purchase than to borrow. By: Morocco - 01e38acffe A: For the 5GPP standards it is specified in different LTE radio interfaces. It is not specified in other interfaces like Wi-Fi or 5GHz. But the logical radio interface is common. Each of these interfaces is characterized by having different amount of radio resources. There are three radio resources defined by the specifications. There are two radio resource blocks which are called "LTE resource" in the specification. One radio resource block (RRB) is defined for eNB cell and the other one (C-RNTI) for UE. UE has the configuration of its associated radio resources and the base station has the configuration of its associated radio resources. The radio resources are also configured to allow to UE to know the signalling related to the radio resource (C-RNTI). UE configures its radio resources and determines to what timing points or frequency points of the associated radio resources the data transmission is sent. UE also configures the parameters of the signal it is sending (e.g. code word, modulation, etc). The UE transmits and receives using the configured radio resources. It is important to see what these radio resources are in more detail. There is a common structure for the physical resources but the eNB radio resources are specified in RRC and C-RNTI radio resource types. There are parameters which determine what the C-RNTI represents (i.e. resource blocks). The Radio Resource Information Element (RRIE) that specifies the resource blocks. As described above, there are two radio resource blocks. Each resource block can carry a C-RNTI. This C-RNTI is for the UE. It determines the configuration for the UE. It has to be compatible with the UE radio resource configuration. RRC can be configured to allow additional physical resource blocks. The UE radio resource configuration is done by RRC as well as the base station radio resource configuration. All the above mentioned radio resources are defined in LTE and 5GPP specs. The C-RNTI is used for both LTE and 5GPP. As @Neil_D commented, the same mechanism is used for Wi-Fi as well. Wi-Fi has the capability to configure different number of channels for stations. In order for Wi-Fi to communicate with station at a different number of Wi-Fi channels, it has to configure what the C-RNTI represents and which channel(s) is used for data communication
