Updating template settings from CLI
I am trying to update template settings from command line in Drupal 8.
However, I am getting the following error:
Warning: Illegal string offset 'template_name' in phar:///usr/local/bin/composer/vendor/bin/drupal/vendor/bin/composer/src/Composer/EventDispatcher/EventDispatcher.php on line 61
In the following example I am trying to update the template name for the "page.tpl.php" template:
composer require drupal/drupal:8.5.x-dev && composer update --force --with-dependencies
Is this something I can fix in Composer? Or do I need to do it in code?
A:
The template_name is the variable that holds the name of the template to be rendered. It is defined by Twig template, and is not Drupal's API.
You probably want to use the variable $template, instead.
